1.If you want to track the newly launched satellites SO-67 and HO-68, first you must manually complete the SatPC32 data files Doppler.SQF, SubTone.SQF and AmsatNames.txt. With "Copy and Paste" add the new data lines (see 2. below) to the files or modify existing data lines. Make sure not to change the format of the files! The data sections of the files, for example, must not contain empty lines! The files can be opened and edited from the SatPC32 menu "?", "Auxiliary Files". Save the changes and restart SatPC32. 2. SatPC32 data for SO-67 and HO-68 a. Doppler.SQF HO-68,435790,145910,USB,LSB,REV,0,0,CWbcn HO-68,435740,145950,USB,LSB,REV,0,0,Xponder HO-68,435675,145825,FM,FM,NOR,0,0,Rptr-BBS SO-67,435345,145875,FM,FM,NOR,0,0,FM-Repeater b. SubTone.SQF Presently there are 4 satellites that require a subaudio tone. SO-50 requires a 74.4 Hz tone to be opened and a 67.0 Hz tone to be worked. With all radios except the Yaesu FT-736R use the following data: AO-51,67.0,$3F,1 SO-50,67.0,$3F,1 SO-50,74.4,$3E,3 SO-67,233.6,$01,36 HO-68,67.0,$3F,1 With the FT-736R use the following data: AO-51,67.0,$3E,1 SO-50,67.0,$3E,1 SO-50,74.4,$1B,3 SO-67,233.6,$20,36 HO-68,67.0,$3E,1 c. AmsatNames.txt Add the following lines at the end of AmsatNames.txt: 35870 09049F SO-67 36122 09072B HO-68 These entries allow SatPC32 to automatically convert the un-handy satellite names used in the Celestrak Keps files (for example amateur.txt) into the handy names used in AMSAT Keps files (for example nasa.all): SUMBANDILA (SO-67) --> SO-67 HOPE-1 (HO-68) --> HO-68 The function leaves the Keps file itself unchanged. To select that option open menu "Satellites" and click on "Sat Names". Then select the option "Use AMSAT Names if Available".
